Woodbridge, Mayor John E. McCormac, the Woodbridge Township Department of Health & Human Services, and the Mayor’s Wellness Campaign announced “Public Health Day ~ 2011” – a day of FREE health and wellness events, information sessions, and physical fitness programs – is slated for Saturday, April 9 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, at the Woodbridge Health Center (2 George Frederick Plaza).
Join Health Department wellness experts and professional staff for health and wellness information and screenings; healthy eating tips and snacks from Cabot; wellness activities for kids and parents; fire safety and home safety programs, FREE give-a-way’s, and much more. The Woodbridge Municipal Alliance will offer substance abuse information and awareness programs and will present anti-drug and alcohol messages through interactive health and wellness programs geared to educate the community.
