
Free rabies shots are available for Woodbridge Township residents who own dogs and cats five months old or older. The rabies clinic will take place September 17 and September 19 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Woodbridge Health Department next to the Main Library and high school.
Carteret, South Amboy and Roselle Park residents may also bring in their pets. There is no charge to these residents for a rabies shot if residents show proof of licensing in their respective townships; otherwise, the cost is $10.
All animals must be licensed and innoculated against rabies. Bring dog or cat license and proof of a prior year's rabies shots if pet has been previously innoculated. Also bring spaying and/or neutering certificate.

Pet owners may also buy dog and cat licenses at the clinic. The fee for a township license is $14 for spayed/neutered dogs and $17 for dogs not spayed/neutered; $12 for spayed/neutered cats, and $22 for cats not spayed or neutered.
A microchipping clinic for Woodbridge Township residents will be held on September 20 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Woodbridge Health Center.
