
New Jersey Romance Writers will hold a Story Mastery seminar with author and lecturer Michael Hauge on April 21 from 8 am to 6 pm at the Hilton Woodbridge in Iselin. The seminar will feature Hauge’s tips for creating compelling screenplays and novels and eliciting emotion in readers through story concept, plot structure, character development and theme.
Hauge has coached writers, producers, stars and directors on projects for Will Smith, Reese Witherspoon, Tom Cruise, Julia Roberts, Bradley Cooper and Morgan Freeman, as well as for every major studio and network. He is currently on retainer with Will Smith’s company, Overbrook Productions, where he was involved in the development of the films I Am Legend, Hancock and The Karate Kid.
