Over many years, St. Cecelia's has graduated students who have gone on to become leaders in their communities and professions. We would like to recognize these individuals and their accomplishments and how they have impacted those they have touched. St. Cecelia's is proud to count Joshua Esteban (Class of 2001) among its graduates and we will honor him at this dinner.
About the Inductee
Joshua Esteban (class of 2001) is a more recent alumnus of Saint Cecelia School and has already started to make his mark on the world. His commitment and involvement in the community has followed him throughout high school and his college years at Brown University culminating in his chosen profession: teaching. Recognizing that children in low-income communities are sometimes under-valued and under-educated, Joshua is involved both as a fellow and an advisory board member for Teach for America, a national program that is dedicated to eliminating educational inequity. He is currently working with inner-city high schoolers in the San Jose, California area.
