The Shannon Rose in Woodbridge Honors Teachers

To thank teachers for all they have done throughout this school year to help children and young adults succeed in the classroom and in life and to give them a well-deserved break from grading those final end-of-the-year papers, The Shannon Rose Irish Pub in Woodbridge will hold a special End-of-The-School-Year Summer Kick-off Party on Thursday, June 16 from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.   All teachers, aides and guidance counselors with proper school identification will receive exclusive food and drink specials including half-price select appetizers, $2 Off Drinks and Beers, $4 Absolut Drinks and $3 Smirnoff Ice Bottles.

"This special appreciation program was created to honor our local educators and acknowledge the crucial role teachers play in making sure every student receives a quality education," said Victor Rezabala, General Manager, The Shannon Rose Irish Pub. "We're happy to host an end-of-the year celebration for teachers to let them know that they are appreciated for everything they do for today's youth."

Teachers can enjoy live music and the camaraderie of mingling with other teachers in the area. There will also be the opportunity to win tons of great prizes like iPods and gift baskets!
