At The Shannon Rose Irish Pub located in Woodbridge, it’s St. Patrick’s Day every day! But from March 12-17, this authentic Irish Pub will be pulling out all the stops serving up leprechaun-approved dishes and live music for everyone.
The blarney and fun crank up on Saturday, March 12 following the South Amboy St. Patrick’s Day parade as The Shannon Rose opens its doors early at 10:00 a.m. for a Kegs & Eggs Breakfast followed by live music from Fiddlin Damian and the Irish Alien Duo from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. and No Standards at 10:00 p.m.
On Sunday, March 13 following the Woodbridge St. Patrick’s Day parade, doors open at 10:00 a.m. with an Irish Breakfast followed by The Whiskey Boys who will perform between 2:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. Jerry Piper will put everyone in the spirit with the best of Irish songs on Monday, March 14 at 4:00 p.m. and there's more toe-tappin' Irish music on Tuesday, March 15 at 4:00 p.m. with Marty McKernan, The One Man Band.
The luck of the Irish comes early on Wednesday, March 16 as The Shannon Rose jump starts the holiday one day prior with St. "Practice" Day, a tradition celebrated at the Pub the third Wednesday of every month. Irish Happy Hour abounds from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with $3 Guinesses and $9.99 Corned Beef & Cabbage. Jerry Piper will perform at 4:00 p.m. and Irish Rock with Dicey Riley at 9:00 p.m.

On St. Patrick's Day, doors once again open early at 10:00 a.m. with a variety of Irish food and libation including a Kegs and Eggs Irish Breakfast, Guinness Beef Stew, Homemade Shepherd's Pie, Corned Beef & Cabbage and Irish Cream Bash Pie, to name a few. Continuous live music will be provided throughout the day with traditional bagpipers and Irish step dancers performing at various times, Jerry Piper's Trio at 11:00 a.m. and Kindred Spirit at 4:00 p.m. DJ Roberto Carlos will spin the turntables until the wee hours of the night starting at 10:00 p.m.
