
Woodbridge Township will hold public ceremonies commemorating Veterans' Day on November 6 starting at 1:30 pm. Veterans, military personnel, marching bands and community organizations will parade down Main Street to honor the men and women who served the country.
The parade will begin at Ross Street School #11 at 1:30 pm; ending at the reviewing stand in front of the Town Hall. Those participating in the parade include the American Legion Post #87 - Woodbridge; American Legion Post #248 - Colonia; American Legion T. Nulty Post #471 - Iselin; Avenel Detachment, U.S. Marine Corps League; Avenel VFW Post #7164; Colonia VFW Post #6061; Fords VFW Post #6090; Hopelawn VFW Post #1352; Iselin VFW Post #2636; Woodbridge VFW Post #4410; Korean War Veterans, Disabled American Veterans, Woodbridge Chapter #56, and members of U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. The JFK High School marching band, the Black Hawk Drum and Bugle Corps will be among others involved in the event.
