The City of Perth Amboy will continue its Holocaust Commemoration Film Series on May 6 with the airing of Schindler's List at the Raritan Bay YMCA Auditorium at 357 New Brunswick Avenue in Perth Amboy.
This is the final film to be shown and is part of Perth Amboy's Holocaust Days of Remembrance series. The Perth Amboy website describes its purpose in creating a commemorative film series as a demonstration "that individuals have the power to make a difference. Remembrance not only obligates us to memorialize those who were killed during the Holocaust, but it also reminds us of the fragility of democracy and the need for citizens to be vigilant in the protection of democratic ideals."
