The Barron Arts Center will host "Medieval Castles of England And Wales," part of Dr. Stephen Kaplan's “A Taste of the Arts” lecture series on February 29 at 7:30 pm.
The lecture will serve to introduce listeners to castles as represented by the many surviving examples in England and Wales. The lecture will include changes to castles through time as well as what to look for when on a visit to a castle. Ian C. Burrow, Ph.D. will present the lecture. Burrow is vice president and principal archaeologist for Hunter Research, Inc.
