Fatal Parkway Crash, Motorcyclist 'Thrown' On Driscoll Bridge

Victim identified, motorcyclist killed in a fatal crash on N.J. highway bridge.

The victim was identified in a fatal motorcycle crash on the Garden State Parkway on Saturday night, police said.

Jesus Delhaya, 39, of Elizabeth was killed after he was "thrown" from his motorcycle on the parkway northbound side, police said.

The accident happened on the Alfred E. Driscoll Bridge over the Raritan River at 10:30 p.m. in Sayrville, closing two lanes of traffic for about 90 minutes, police said.

The accident happened at milepost 126.9 when a Suzuki motorcycle traveling in the left lane struck a Nissan Altima in the rear, police said.

Delhaya was ejected and was later prounced dead at the scene, police said. The driver of the Nissan suffered a neck injury.
