A flying hammer struck the windshield of a car on a New Jersey highway on Thursday, police said - just weeks after a flying dumbbell smashed a windshield and killed a driver.
Police want to know who's responsible for the hammer hitting a Lexus ES3 on the Garden State Parkway at 3:21 p.m.
Bloomfield Station troopers responded to the Woodbridge incident at milepost 134.3 northbound. The driver sustained minor injuries.

On Jan. 9, a dumbbell smashed a car on the New Jersey Turnpike southbound side at milepost 6.6 in Oldman's Township, sending 75-year-old Jack DeCarlo of Hamilton, Mercer County, to the hospital, according to police.
DeCarlo died Tuesday, police said. Patricia DeCarlo, 57, suffered minor injuries, police said.
