Five Things: Last Day for Barron Train Show Exhibit
It's a great way to top off your holiday season!

- The Great Train Exhibit ends today. The holiday model ends today if you haven't seen it. Hours are from 11 am to 4 pm, and admission is free (but donations are welcome.) For more info, call 732-634-0413.
- Story time is happening at today. Looking for fun and educational activities for your children? Take them at 11 am for a mid-morning filled with great activities. The event takes place upstairs in the Children's Department. Staff members will read books, sing songs and participate in activities. For more info, call 732-548-4179.
- Enter the 10th Annual Young Playwrights Competition. The Theater Project, Union County College’s Professional Theater Company is accepting submissions for its . Original works of at least 10 but no more than 30 pages typed in play format may be submitted by students in secondary schools who are between the ages of 13 and 18. Entries can be either mailed or emailed but must be postmarked and/or received by January 23, 2012 and must be accompanied by a $5 submission fee. Mail entries to: P.O. - Donate coats to the needy. The Pentecostal Council Church of God at 186 Commercial Avenue in New Brunswick is holding a coat drive. Donate any older to help local families and the homeless. Coats can be dropped off at the church through December 31. For more info, call 848-248-2341.
- There's still time to register for Winter Art Classes. for classes for adults, teens (ages 12-16), and children (ages 7–11) at Arts Guild New Jersey in Rahway. Classes begin the week of Jan. 14 and include an entire litany of new offerings.
