Port Reading Avenue flooded just after 7 a.m. Saturday. 19+ inches of snow recorded in Woodbridge Township.

Woodbridge, NJ - Port Reading Avenue by Woodbridge River Park flooded in the usual spots just after 7 a.m. Saturday due to the high tide, Woodbridge Police Captain Roy Hoppock tells Patch.

19 inches of snow were measured in Woodbridge Township, according to the National Weather Service. However, that was at 4 p.m., and the real number is likely higher, at 24 inches, which East Brunswick recorded at 8 p.m.

High tide for the Woodbridge River was at 7:09 a.m. Saturday, and again at 7:37 p.m. Saturday night.

Several disabled vehicles were reported stuck and stranded due to the snow, Hoppock said.
