Former Woodbridge EMT Admits To Enticing Boy Online
An Iselin man who worked as an EMT and volunteer firefighter admitted Tuesday to asking a boy, 12, to send him a nude photo of himself.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — A Woodbridge man who worked as an EMT and volunteer firefighter admitted Tuesday to enticing a child to produce sexually explicit images, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito announced.
Zachary Motta, 23, the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Freda L. Wolfson to an information charging him with one count of online enticement of a minor to engage in criminal sexual activity.

Beginning in October 2016, Motta communicated with an underage boy who told Motta he was 12 years old. Motta used a computer to ask the victim to send a picture of himself nude, which the boy did.
The count to which Motta pleaded guilty carries a mandatory minimum of 10 years in prison, a maximum of life in prison and a fine of $250,000, or twice the gross gain or loss caused by the offense. Sentencing is scheduled for May 10, 2018.
