Gallery: Main Street Preps for St. Patrick's Day
The township is all ready for the parade that begins at 1:30 pm today.
Today, bands, floats, and all manner of Irish regalia will be making its way down Main Street in Woodbridge, in honor of the township's traditional St. Patrick's Day Parade.
But much of the prep work takes place beforehand. The kelly green line carefully painted down the center of Main Street was slathered on the street Saturday morning.
Orange cones on both sides of the line ran up and down the street. Even an emergency call that brought police and fire engines from the fire house on School Street didn't stop the painting of the green line. (To their credit, the traffic cones didn't even move as the fire engines passed by.)
