The Gateway Family YMCA Shares Summer Camp Information and Parent Tips

The Gateway Family YMCA is gearing up for an exciting summer, and is inviting parents and guardians to learn more about Summer Day Camp, and how to provide a seamless transition for your children, at a Camp Open House and Parent Information Session Event on Wednesday, March 22nd at 6:00pm in Elizabeth, Rahway and Union, NJ. Join YMCA Camp Directors for tips on getting the most out of your child’s camp experience, summer safety and fun! Additional Summer Day Camp Parent Information Sessions are available on Saturday, April 29th at 12:00pm and Wednesday, May 17th at 5:00pm. YMCA Summer Day Camp registration begins March 13 in person and online at www.tgfymca.org Summer Camp locations include The Gateway Family YMCA – Elizabeth Branch, 135 Madison Avenue, Elizabeth, Five Points Branch 201 Tucker Avenue, Union, and Rahway Branch 1564 Irving Street, Rahway. Summer Day Camp at The Gateway Family YMCA is available in one-week sessions for Pre-K Age 3 through Grade 6. Registration is first come, first serve due to limited capacity.

At Y Summer Day Camp, kids can develop skills and self-confidence, make new friendships and gain a sense of belonging – all while having tons of fun. From games and sports to arts and crafts to outdoor adventures to STEAM and academic enrichment, a Y Summer Day Camp experience offers kids the chance to learn new things and enjoy new adventures.
