The Black Poster Project is a powerful initiative designed to raise awareness about the devastating impact of drug overdose deaths. By featuring posters that highlight individual overdose victims, it brings a deeply personal and visual dimension to the issue, often engaging both community members and healthcare providers in a dialogue about prevention, support, and policy change.
JFK University Medical Center and Old Bridge Medical Center partnered with the Black Poster Project to bring this moving exhibit to the heart of its hosptials. The project involves displaying hundreds of black posters, each representing an individual who lost their life due to drug overdose.
