Hess Solar Panels Almost Complete

Just a five weeks ago, it was a sea of sticks in the mud. But yesterday, construction on a 1.1 megawatt solar field on was apparently more than half completed.

Taking advantage of the warm winter, the solar panel project is quite the show on Main Street. When it's finished, the of the energy needs of the Hess corporate headquarters, seen in several of the pictures.

"It is part of our company's commitment to sustainability and to providing total energy solutions that include a renewable energy component to commercial and industrial organizations, including our own," Hess said last month in a statement when the arrangement of the stakes for the solar panels was being laid out.
