H.S. Seniors: Is the Constitution Relevant?

The township republican organization puts the question to Woodbridge Township high school seniors who will be going to college this fall.


Is the U.S. Constitution still relevant today? 

That question has been asked in recent years, but if you're a member of any of , and you intend on going to college this fall, you're invited to answer that question and maybe pick up a $250 prize in doing it.

The Woodbridge Township Republican Organization (WTRO) is taking applications for their annual Leadership Award. Applicants must be Woodbridge Township residents that are considered HS Seniors and will be attending college beginning in the fall of 2012. Applicants can download the application from woodbridgetwprepublicans.com or see their HS Guidance Counselor.

This year’s essay question: Is the US Constitution still relevant today? All essays should be no more than 500 words in length. Essays will be judged by a panel of representatives from the WTRO, including educators, business people and County Committee members.

The winning essay will be judged on originality, poignancy, clarity, and creativity, with the winner receiving a $250 prize from the WTRO.
