House Fire At Historic Woodbridge Home This Week

This was the scene of a house fire at a historic home on East Prospect Avenue in Woodbridge Wednesday:

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — This was the scene of a house fire at a historic home on East Prospect Avenue in Woodbridge Wednesday.

The fire was coming from the top floor of the home, and the fire was so great that the roof collapsed.

As of Friday, officials have not said the cause of the fire.

Woodbridge firefighters from Avenel, Port Reading, Fords, Hopelawn, Perth Amboy, Edison and Iselin assisted, as did the Avenel-Colonia, Port Reading and Rahway EMS units, Woodbridge Police and Woodbridge CERT team.
