Inspiring Lives & Heroic Tales Movie Series!

FREE Films! Join us for a FREE Movie on Fridays @ 2pm - Woodbridge Main Library

The Woodbridge Main Library will be presenting a free film series on Friday afternoons at 2pm beginning May 15. The first movie is Get It On Up, a musical biography of the legendary “Godfather of Soul” James Brown. On May 22, we will screen A Walk Among the Tombstones, a crime thriller starring Liam Neeson, as novelist Lawrence Block’s famous Detective Matthew Scudder. May 29 will feature Fury, a World War II era film starring Brad Pitt and Shia LeBeouf as members of a US tank crew in Nazi Germany. The Theory of Everything, a romantic biography focusing upon physicist Stephen Hawking and his first wife, Jane Wilde will be shown on June 5 followed by Into the Woods, a musical starring Meryl Streep with lyrics by Stephen Sondheim on June 12. The series ends on June 19 with Unbroken, an inspiring, epic story based on Olympian and prisoner-of-war Louis “Louie” Zamperini’s life.
