It's Now Bruce Turcotte Memorial Highway
NJ-184 through Woodbridge will now be called by a different name.

Woodbridge, NJ - You’re now driving on Bruce Turcotte Memorial Highway when you’re on State Highway 184.
Last week, Gov. Chris Christie signed legislation to change the road’s name into law, taking effect immediately.
Turcotte, a longtime Fords resident, served as a volunteer firefighter for more than 38 years at Hopelawn Engine Co. 1 before he died in the line of duty.

On Jan. 19‚ 2012‚ he responded to a house fire along with his son, Brian. At the scene, later, he was found unconscious and unresponsive behind the wheel of a rescue truck. He had suffered a massive fatal heart attack at the age of 58.
