JFKUMC Performs The First-Ever EUS-RFA for Pancreatic Cancer

Hackensack Meridian JFK University Medical Center is proud to announce the successful completion of the first-ever Endoscopic Ultrasound Guided Radiofrequency Ablation (EUS-RFA) for pancreatic cancer within the Hackensack Meridian Health Network. This groundbreaking procedure marks a significant advancement in the fight against this aggressive disease, offering new hope to patients with pancreatic tumors.

EUS-RFA is a minimally invasive, same-day procedure that utilizes advanced technology to precisely target and ablate cancerous cells. This innovative approach offers several advantages over traditional treatments, including:
