Keeping Up the Beat! is a presentation on maintaining optimal heart health from HealthEASE, an educational program developed by the NJ Institute for Successful Aging and sponsored by the New Jersey Department of Health.
Discussion will include:
• The effects of high cholesterol and high blood pressure on heart disease
• The difference between HDL and LDL cholesterol
• Lifestyle changes for heart health
• The importance of heart disease prevention and having a healthier heart
