It's Labor Day weekend and families, adults and senior citizens are celebrating with wellness opportunities at The Gateway Family YMCA. At the Wellness Center Branch, 1000 Galloping Hill Road in Union, NJ small groups of dedicated members came together to kick off the holiday weekend with some exercise and dancing in advance of their barbecue and beach plans. At the Five Points Branch, 201 Tucker Avenue in Union, NJ and the Rahway Branch, 1564 Irving Street in Rahway, NJ children and families came together for morning swimming lessons and afternoon family swim to beat the heat of the day. At the Elizabeth Branch, 135 Madison Avenue in Elizabeth, NJ youth and teens were participating in basketball and youth sports programs, while parents, adults and seniors were utilizing the cardiovascular and fitness equipment or attending Yoga programs.
