Live in Woodbridge? Go Fly a Kite!

The mayor wants you to go fly a kite at a kite-flying in Sewaren on May 12.


Mayor John McCormac is telling residents to 'go fly a kite' - on Saturday, May 12.

That's when the Recreation Department will be holding 'rite of spring' kite flying at in Sewaren from 9 am to 12 noon.

There is no age limiting on the kite flying competition. Prizes will be awarded for the best homemade and store bought kites; the smallest, largest, and most unusual; and the kite that stays in the air the longest.

Certificates will also be granted for all the kite flying fun.
