Local Man Robbed Woodbridge QuickCheck, Police Say
If you noticed a commotion on Claire Avenue last night, it's because the suspect jumped out of a second-floor window and ran, police said.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — A 28-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested Friday, Sept. 29 and charged with robbing a local QuickCheck in the Township earlier in June.
Just before midnight on Saturday, June 10, police say a man entered the QuickCheck on Rahway Avenue in Woodbridge. He handed an item to the checkout person, and, as the employee was scanning the item, the suspect sprayed the employee in the face with some type of pepper spray, and then reached into the open register, grabbed an unknown amount of cash and fled.
Woodbridge police investigated and were able to identify the suspect. A warrant was issued for the arrest of Eric Noa, 28, of Claire Avenue in Woodbridge. After numerous attempts to find him, early this morning police located him in his home, just blocks away from the QuickCheck. They went to the Claire Avenue address at 1:19 a.m. today. Noa jumped out of a second-floor window and tried to run from police, but officers surrounded the house and he was arrested.
