LINDEN, NJ — A Rahway man was arrested this month and charged with breaking into several businesses and restaurants in the Woodbridge/Linden area.

Henry Hayes, 46, was arrested in Linden on Oct. 19 and is charged with multiple counts of third-degree burglary and criminal mischief. Linden police say Hayes broke into and burglarized the U.S. Fried Chicken & Pizza (1200 E. St. George Ave.) on September 15, Meat City (240 E. St. George Ave.) on October 6, The Smoked House (239 E. Elizabeth Ave.) on October 8 and Dunkin' Donuts at the 76 Gas Station (101 N. Park Ave.) on October 13.

“Cases like this often take longer than we would like, but reducing burglary remains one of our priorities,” said Linden Police Chief Jonathan Parham. “We are very proud of the work done leading up to this arrest.”
