Man Found Dead In Perth Amboy Identified, Stabbed To Death
Police are investigating the murder of this man, who was found near the Conrail railroad tracks in Perth Amboy on Friday.

PERTH AMBOY, NJ — The Middlesex County prosecutor and Perth Amboy police are investigating a man who was found stabbed to death near the railroad tracks in Perth Amboy on Friday. He has been identified as Jose David Guardado-Leiva, 18, of Perth Amboy.
His body was discovered on Conrail property near William Street. The investigation began Friday when a 911 call was received at 7:41 a.m.; a passerby discovered the victim’s body near the railroad tracks.
An autopsy by the Middlesex County Medical Examiner was scheduled for Saturday. The Middlesex County Medical Examiner ruled the death a homicide due to sharp force injuries of the head, neck and torso.
