Meet the Author: Thais Sherell
Author Thais Sherell will be giving insight into her works February 11 @ 7PM!

Join us at the Woodbridge Main Library on February 11 at 7PM to Meet the Author: Thais Sherell. Sherell will do a reading and give some insight into her latest novel, Good News Buster. Good News Buster follows Roosevelt Johnson a descendant of sharecroppers and self- made businessman with spiritual roots. Sherell will also provide insight into her other works—Between the Pages and One Awesome School. In addition to readings and insight Sherell will incorporate a performance related to her writings.
Thais Sherell is an author, licensed educator, performer, and motivational speaker who is passionate about community transformation and conflict resolution. She has written for a diverse group of magazines, journals, and companies, and she has written and produced stage plays and screen plays - credits which garnered attention from Oprah Winfrey’s staff. She is the recipient of several community arts awards, humanitarian awards, and has received recognition in The Bronx Times, The New York Carib News, Bronx News 12, Scope Magazine, and Bronx Talk AM, to name a few. Her projects combine education, business, and spiritual guide posts to bring awareness to community concerns and introduce alternative conflict resolutions.
