Meet Fox News Correspondent in Metuchen Wednesday Night

Liberal news pundit and FOX correspondent Julie Roginsky will speak at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Cai's.

Metuchen, NJ - At a time when many Democrats are wondering where to go from the surprising election of Donald Trump and the best way forward, the Metuchen Democratic Organization is looking to further engage its membership with a Speaker Series. The first of these events will kick off Wednesday, December 7 at 7:30 p.m. at Cai’s (420 Main Street in Metuchen) with Julie Roginsky, a liberal news pundit who frequently appears on the Fox News Network. The event is entitled “The 2016 Elections: Looking Back and Moving Forward.”

Roginsky is a regular on “The Kelly File” with Megyn Kelly and is often “outnumbered” by her fellow conservative pundits on the show. Roginsky plans on speaking about her experience as a liberal pundit behind conservative lines and will be available to answer questions from attendees.

“We look forward to hosting Julie, a New Jersey native whom I have known for almost 20 years. She has an incredible story to tell about her experiences during the 2016 election and what she thinks we can expect at both the national and local level over the next four years,” said Metuchen Democratic Chairman Jonathan Busch.

The 2016 election cycle has given a burst of energy to the Metuchen Democratic Organization, which has worked hard to encourage Democrats, young and old, about the importance of thinking locally to help impact broader changes nationally. The organization is looking to help and organize with other local organizations to help continue activities and engagement beyond electoral cycles. Other upcoming activities include a sign-making party for the upcoming Million Women March in Washington, D.C. scheduled for January 21, and more speaker events.
