Meet One Of Middlesex County's First Babies Of The New Year

This baby girl entered the world at 2:45 a.m. Jan. 1 at a hospital in New Brunswick.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — Who doesn't love a baby born right when a new year begins? So much freshness, promises of hope, change and optimism for a better future.

To that end, meet baby girl Varnika Gorre, one of the first babies to be born in Middlesex County in 2022.

Entering this world at 2:45 a.m. on Jan. 1, she was the first baby born in the new year at Saint Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick.

Weighing in at 6lbs 15oz, she was born to mother Bhavani Tiruveedula and father Jagan Babu Gorre, who live in Edison.
