“The consolidation of separate offices into one centralized hub was driven by demand from the Baby Boomer population of Central New Jersey, the ability to provide more career options for women after seeing them thrive in the MLSG environment, and greater opportunity to match the diverse communities the firm serves,’’ the news release said.

Four advisor teams will work at the site, which will also serve as a training hub for the group’s professional development programs.

“Our new direction is to build individual teams that each specialize in certain areas or groups, such as small businesses, retirees, and beyond,” MetLife Solutions Group Managing Partner John Bucsek said in a prepared statement. “The location of our new MetroPark hub offers a stronger sense of collaboration and communication, something we felt was missing from our previous network of separate offices throughout the region. The consolidation has also fostered a culture of more idea exchanging, more teamwork, and healthier competition, a benefit our clients will be able to enjoy.”

At the ribbon cutting, Bucsek and Managing Partner Bellaria Jimenez in presented charitable donations to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, Habitat For Humanity, and Junior Achievement of New Jersey, the news release said.

“We are thrilled to celebrate the opening of our new headquarters by making these donations to three of the most impactful nonprofits in the Garden State,” Jimenez said in a prepared statement. “One of the primary reasons we moved to MetroPark was so that we could better serve our local communities, and we cannot think of a better way to mark this occasion than through community service. We are excited to continue working with these organizations throughout the rest of 2015 and beyond.”

Woodbridge Mayor John McCormac also attended the ceremony.
