Middlesex County Burglary Suspect Arrested
Police arrested a man at a Motel 6 in Lawrenceville who is suspected to have committed burglaries in Carteret, Woodbridge, Edison and more.
CARTERET, NJ — Carteret police say on Friday they arrested a man at a Motel 6 in Lawrenceville who is suspected to have committed multiple burglaries in Carteret, Woodbridge, Edison and throughout Middlesex, Monmouth, Mercer and Union counties.
Steve Ehnot, 53, was arrested inside the Motel 6 at 6 p.m. this past Friday, Jan. 31.
Police with Carteret's newly formed Street Crimes Unit joined law enforcement from the Lawrenceville and Edison Police Departments.

Also arrested in the sting were Ehnot’s suspected driver for the burglaries, Tommy Dorenvil, and an unidentified female companion, said police.
