Model Trains Are Back For The Season In Woodbridge

The annual holiday model train show is back for its 26th season.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ— A local favorite, the Holiday Model Train Show is back for its 26th year in Woodbridge.

Until Dec 30, you can take a look at all the model trains collected by Colonia resident Michael Gelesky at the Barron Arts Center.

The display has over 300 feet of track, a moving, operating playground, three towns, a boardwalk with rides, and more. Eleven different trains will be used, with four operating at all times.

Displayed in the round, visitors will be able to walk around the tracks to take everything in.

Gelesky has been collecting trains since he was five, and it's become a lifelong passion. His two children with wife Donna, Stephanie and Justin, now help put together the exhibit together every year.

Admission is free, but donations are greatly appreciated.

The exhibit is open Monday-Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Barron Arts center is located at 582 Rahway Ave in Woodbridge.
