Motorcyclist Killed On Rt. 440 In Hit And Run
A motorcyclist was was ejected from his Harley, and then run over and killed by a car in a still-unsolved hit and run June 14 on Rt. 440.

PERTH AMBOY, NJ — A motorcyclist was was ejected from his Harley, and then run over and killed by a car in a still-unsolved hit and run earlier this month on Rt. 440 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey State Police said.
The fatal incident happened at approximately 6:19 a.m. last Thursday, June 14. The driver of a Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling on the exit ramp from State Highway 440 north to State Street/High Street in Perth Amboy.
The motorcycle overturned and the driver was ejected into the roadway, where he was struck by an unidentified vehicle, State Police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The car that hit him sped off and police say that as of Sunday, June 24, it still has not been located.
