Free films shown at the Woodbridge Main Library on Friday afternoons at 2:00 Pm.

Our new free film series, Hits You May Have Missed, will begin at the Woodbridge Main Library on Friday, November 4 at 2:00 PM. Our first film in the series is Hello, My Name is Doris, a romantic comedy - drama with Sally Field. Next, on November 18, we will be showing the critically acclaimed film Spotlight. This is an intense drama, starring Mark Ruffalo, Michael Keaton, and Rachel McAdams, that depicts how investigative reporters from the Boston Globe uncovered rampart sexual abuse in the Catholic Church. After Thanksgiving, on December 2, we will return with Me Before You. Based on Jojo Moyes' novel this story focuses on the developing relationship between a young woman who becomes the caregiver to a paralyzed man. We will follow this on December 9 with the delightful comedy, My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, a sequel that has the Portokalos family returning for yet another fabulous Greek wedding. Our series concludes on December 16 with Café Society, Woody Allen's film about love and glamour in 1930s Hollywood. The large cast of Café Society includes Jeannie Berlin, Steve Carell, Jesse Eisenberg, Blake Lively, Parker Posey, and Kristen Stewart.

All films are free and all are welcome to attend. The Woodbridge Main Library is located at 1 George Frederick Plaza, Woodbridge. Light refreshments, provided for by the Woodbridge Library Foundation, will be served. This film series is sponsored by the Friends of the Libraries of Woodbridge Township.
