Oak Tree Road TD Bank Robbed
A man wearing a U.S. Postal Service-style jacket robbed the bank Saturday.

Edison, NJ - A TD Bank branch on Oak Tree Road in Edison was robbed Saturday, according to police, and authorities are looking for the suspect.
Police say a six-foot-tall black man, wearing a U.S. Postal Service-style jacket over a red hoodie, handed a note demanding cash to a teller at the TD Bank at 2064 Oak Tree Road (at Plainfield and New Dover roads) at 1 p.m. Saturday.
No weapon was shown or threats made during the robbery, police said.

The teller complied and gave an unspecified amount of cash. The suspect ran from the bank and was last seen heading toward New Dover Road on foot, police said.
Anyone who saw the fleeing suspect, or who has information, is asked to call Edison Detective Sean Forker at (732) 248-7531 or (732) 248-7400. Edison police are investigating the robbery in conjunction with the FBI.
