Old Bridge Couple Dies In Murder-Suicide, Prosecutor Says
At 11:17 p.m. Tuesday, Old Bridge Police were called to a home on Jacob Street for a report of a homicide.
OLD BRIDGE, NJ — An Old Bridge couple died Tuesday night in what appears to be murder-suicide, said Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Acting Chief Joseph Mandola of the Old Bridge Police Department.
At 11:17 p.m. Tuesday, Old Bridge Police were called to a home on Jacob Street for a report of a homicide.
Upon entering the residence, officers found a woman, Yajaira Moreno, 33, of Old Bridge who had sustained apparent stab wounds.

Juan Alvarado, 39, of Elizabeth was located nearby her body inside the home. Police say he had apparent, self-inflicted stab wounds.
Moreno and Alvarado were formerly in a dating relationship. They both were pronounced dead at the scene.

At present, the deaths are believed to be the result of an apparent murder-suicide, said the county prosecutor.
