• NJ fire department set to close after 118 years in operation (pix11.com) — Woodbridge Township is closing the Keasbey Fire Department after 118 years, shifting its paid firefighters to nearby Fords in a move officials say will improve safety and cut Keasbey homeowners' taxes by about $1,000 a year. Some firefighters and residents suspect development pressures, and more than 1,400 people have signed a petition opposing the shutdown.
