Police Seen At Colonia High School For Medical Emergency
An ambulance was called to Colonia High School for a sick employee, and police delayed student dismissal so the ambulance could depart.

COLONIA, NJ — Parents might be very alarmed to hear their children reporting a heavy police presence at Colonia High School Friday afternoon, but this was related to a medical situation involving a school employee and no teens were ever at risk, Woodbridge schools superintendent Robert Zega told Patch.
One of the high school's vendor employees had a medical situation, and an ambulance was called, said Dr. Zega.
While they were assisting the employee, first aid and police recommended to Colonia High School administration that they delay student dismissal to avoid traffic that would delay the ambulance.

The police have since cleared the delay and allowed Colonia High to dismiss as normal. All school activities have returned to normal, Zega said.
