Pregnant Woman, Man Shot In Woodbridge Saturday Evening
Two cars were struck with gunfire at the intersection of South Inman Avenue and Rt. 1 north just before 6 p.m., said authorities.
WOODBRIDGE, NJ — A pregnant woman and a man traveling inside a car were shot Saturday evening in Woodbridge Township, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Woodbridge Police Director Robert Hubner.
Both survived the shooting.
At 5:43 p.m. Saturday, authorities received a 911 call reporting a shooting in which two cars were struck with gunfire at the intersection of South Inman Avenue and Rt. 1 north.

That is approaching the border of Rahway, and Linden Police responded. They found pregnant woman and one man in the Home Depot parking lot in Linden, who each sustained a gunshot wound.
The man and woman were transported to the hospital, where they were treated for their injuries. There are unconfirmed reports they are husband and wife.

The prosecutor said they were struck with the gunfire while traveling inside their car.
The second vehicle hit with gunshots was located by the Woodbridge Police Department at Sansone Toyota in Woodbridge. No one was injured inside the car.
