Rahway Warehouse Robbed at Gunpoint

The owner, a Woodbridge resident, said he and his wife are now very scared.

Rahway, NJ - Four masked men robbed a Rahway food distribution warehouse Tuesday at gunpoint, according to NJ.com.

The warehouse's owner, Mohammed Halim, 39, who lives in Woodbridge, said he thinks at least one of the men may have been a former employee, as the men knew right where to find the money, and that Tuesday was the day he paid his employees and had a lot of cash on hand.

The warehouse, Naz HS Inc., on New Brunswick Avenue in Rahway, was robbed at 9 a.m. Monday. One of the men hit Halim in the head with the back of his gun before they fled.

"We are very scared," Halim told NJ.com. "My wife works here alone sometimes and she is very scared. This is not a bad area. And the police station is right nearby."

Police said all four suspects appeared to be in their 20s and possibly Hispanic, with slender builds.
