Republican Governor's Debate Thursday in Metuchen

Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno is the only candidate who declined to attend, due to her son's Air Force graduation. 7 to 9 p.m. at the Forum.

METUCHEN, NJ - Here's a reminder that the four candidates seeking the Republican nomination to run for New Jersey governor will participate in a public debate Thursday evening in Metuchen.

State Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli, Nutley Township Commissioner Steve Rogers, Ocean County businessman Joe Rullo (born in Woodbridge) and Hirsch Singh will participate in a Republican gubernatorial candidate forum from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Forum Theatre Cultural Arts Center on Main Street in Metuchen.

Gov. Chris Christie's Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno, who is also running, declined to attend. She will be at a graduation for her son Kevin, who completed pilot training in the U.S. Air Force. The debate is sponsored by the Middlesex County Young Republicans. The event is free and open to the public and all are invited to attend.
