With Special Guest Appearance By DC And Marvel Illustrator And Artist John Stanisci
On Saturday, April 28, 2018, Angel P.A.W.S. (Pets Animals Welfare Society, Inc.), the Colonia, New Jersey, based animal rescue and adoption shelter will celebrate the 10th anniversary of their Pawcasso Art Auction Fundraiser - benefitting the continuing care of homeless animals in their facility. In its 10th milestone year, Pawcasso will take place at St. Anthony of Padua Parish Hall at 436 Port Reading Avenue, Port Reading, NJ, 07064. Art auction preview begins at 6:00 PM and the auction start time is 7:00 PM. Admission is $15.00 per person or $25.00 per couple. Arin Ross Auctions will present the auction, in partnership with Marlin Art. Angel P.A.W.S. is thrilled to announce a last minute addition of John Stanisci to Pawcasso’s 10th Anniversary celebration. The event will feature acoustic music by Bob Greiza, of ...nothing follows, during the pre-auction.
Introduced ten-years-ago by Angel P.A.W.S. volunteer, Cindi Baltzer, the fundraiser has become widely recognized for its Pawcassos - framed paw-printed pieces of art created by Angel P.A.W.S.’ shelter animals. Also participating this year will be kittens from Angel P.A.W.S.’ flagship shelter, Rahway Kitty Hall, New Jersey’s first cat café, located in Rahway, NJ. Prior years’ Pawcasso painters included the organization’s shelter cats, kittens, and dogs, all once Angel P.A.W.S. residents themselves. Their artwork created astounding bidding wars fetching generous donations for the care of Angel P.A.W.S.’ potential adoptees. Marlin Art will provide premium art, sports and music memorabilia. Raffle baskets and door prizes will be made available. Additionally, Pawcasso will be going LIVE, via Facebook LIVE at Facebook.com/angelpawspets, throughout the evening. Please note that online bidding will not be taking place during this time.
The event will include hors d’oeuvres, cheese, beverages, coffee, and dessert. Acceptable forms of payment in advance and at the door are cash or check made payable to: Angel P.A.W.S. For additional information, please call Lisa Palasits at (732) 713-0447 or Angel P.A.W.S. @ 732-340-1199. Customary forms of payment for Pawcasso artwork are cash or check and Marlin Art via MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express.
