Results Of Woodbridge Primary; Mayor, Council Race Loom In November

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Here are the results of the Tuesday primary in Woodbridge.

This fall, Republican John Vrtaric will challenge longtime Woodbridge mayor John McCormac, a Democrat, in the Nov. 7 general election.

Also on Nov. 7, there will be an election for Woodbridge town council; four seats are open and running for them are:

• Democratic council reps Kyle Anderson, Lizbeth DeJesus, Greg Ficarra and Brian Small.
• Republican challengers Bruce Banko, Carlo Fazio, Elijah Rodriguez and Dalia Valentine.

Here are the results from the June 6 primary:

McCormac: 3,798

Small: 3,643

Ficarra: 3,654

DeJesus: 3,683

Anderson: 3,651

Vrtaric: 1,037

Valentine: 1,006

Banko: 1,014

Rodriguez: 980
