Amazon's New Delivery Station In Edison Is Now Open

To celebrate the opening, Amazon donated to the Edison Public Library. The 289,000 square-foot facility is located at 8 B Court South.

EDISON, NJ — Amazon’s new delivery station in Edison is now open, the company announced Monday.

The 289,000 square-foot facility located at 8 B Court South in Edison, opened in late July, the company said. In February this year, Amazon announced its plans for a new delivery station in Edison and five other New Jersey towns.

The delivery stations help speed up deliveries for customers and packages are shipped to a delivery station from neighboring Amazon Fulfillment and Sortation Centers, a spokesperson from Amazon said.

The new delivery station is expected to create hundreds of full and part-time associate jobs.

To celebrate the opening, the retail giant said it donated to the Edison Public Library.

Amazon said it has invested more than $14.5 billion across New Jersey, including infrastructure and compensation.
