Sears At Woodbridge Center Mall Will Close In April
First the Lord & Taylor closed Dec. 24, and now the Sears. The Woodbridge Center Sears announced it will close in mid-April.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — More woes are befalling the Woodbridge Center Mall, as it just lost a second major anchor tenant: The Sears at Woodbridge Center will be closing in mid-April, a spokesman for the store confirmed to Patch on Wednesday.
This comes after another of the mall's anchor tenants, the Lord & Taylor, closed its doors for good on Dec. 24, 2019.
"After careful review, we have made the difficult but necessary decision to close the K-Mart stores in West Long Branch, and the Sears stores in Moorestown and Woodbridge, N.J.," said Larry Costello, a spokesman for Transformco, the company that owns Sears/K-Mart.

Liquidation sales at the Woodbridge Center Sears will begin later this week and it will close in mid-April.
A spokeswoman for the mall declined to comment on what could possibly take the place of either stores.

"We encourage customers to continue shopping on Kmart.com and Sears.com for all their product needs," said Costello.
