Shoplifting Arrest At Woodbridge Center Mall

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — A Parlin woman was charged with shoplifting Monday at the Woodbridge Center Mall.

The woman, Kimberly Gerchak, 37, was stopped at the Boscov's trying to steal $386 worth of clothing at 4:30 Monday afternoon, police said. A store security officer said he watched her on CCTV take the items off the racks and into the fitting rooms with her. When she emerged later without any of the clothing, he suspected she put them in her purse.

Woodbridge police were called and she was handcuffed in the Boscov's and taken to Woodbridge police headquarters for processing.
