Shoplifting Arrest At Woodbridge Center Mall FYE Store

A Linden woman was arrested at around 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16 for allegedly shoplifting from the FYE music store.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — A Linden woman was arrested at around 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16 for allegedly shoplifting from the Woodbridge Center Mall.

Store security at the FYE music store in the mall said they watched as the woman helped herself to 36 CDs from a display case. She put the CDs in a white booster bag and walked out of the store, taking $524 worth of CDs with her, they said. Store security ran after her and stopped her. The booster bag was inside a Justice shopping bag.

Glendora Pitts, 41, of Linden was handcuffed and taken to Woodbridge police headquarters in a patrol car, where she was processed and fingerprinted. She was charged with shoplifting.
